New additions to our fitness program has brought new light to Cross Fit & ZoomBah like classes. Your teen will be able to do everything from joining our in-house Yogi, Arvind for mindful Yoga to ending the day performing in our Camp Show. The sun is shining and summer 2018 is off to a truly magical start in the Beautiful State of Maine.
Our health center is all up & running and accepting e-mails so if you have any questions or concerns regarding your camper’s medication or anything else regarding our infirmary, feel free to drop them an e-mail on email@example.com.
“Over in the music department, our jam shacks are organized, guitars are tuned and pine needles swept in preparation for the first of our classes which started this afternoon! To start our recordings off this year is MTC’s very own Bucket Hat Brigade, storming their way through camp sporting bucket hats and singing their theme tune. We liked it so much we couldn’t resist recording it to show to you. Keep an eye out for more of our recordings over the coming weeks from our brilliantly talented musicians!”

HAL-lo! My name's Hal Halper, I'm from Brooklyn, New York and I currently reside in Boston, Massachusetts. I'm a high school theatre educator with a BA in Theatre Arts, a Masters in Theatre Education, and pursuing a PhD in Theatre Performance for Social Justice. I have a deep passion and commitment to providing a safe and encouraging environment for youth to be able to explore and learn what type of leader they are, while navigating how they fit into the world. I'm a firm believer of igniting ones passions so that they can contribute themselves positively into our society, and create ripples of love and acceptance for others.
The LT program is designed for exceptional young leaders who are ready and willing to work diligently to contributing to the MTC's mission statement. With each passing summer, MTC's LT program continues to produce compassionate, effective, and well prepared leaders to enter the world with purpose, awareness of self, and a wide array of skills to guide them on their future endeavors.
I'm most looking forward to getting to know this years LT's and supporting them along their journeys of exploration and self discovery.
If you are interested in or would like to learn more about the Leadership in Training program at MTC, please feel free to reach out to us during camp when signups for next years LT program open up.
Looking forward to another beautiful summer at Maine!
